At Rocky Mountain Bully Chews, we take pride in offering you the best quality bully chews you can buy!

We have a variety of Bull and Buffalo products to choose from, sourced from USA Ranchers  These chews are processed locally at a small, family-owned business in West Jordan, Utah, where they have been processing Bull Pizzle products for almost 25 years!

The Bull Pizzle was popular in the Old West because of it’s versatility, strength & durability.  Bull Pizzle was often used to make gun butts, ax handles, tool handles and walking canes.  This Old West tradition has since transitioned into processing Bull Pizzle into Dog Chews, now commonly referred to as Bully Chews.

Bully chews come in varying thickness and cut into multiple lengths. They are given to dogs as healthy chews that do not splinter or gum up the way rawhide does, and they are 100% digestible!  Bully Chews are a single ingredient, high-protein beef muscle.

Beef is a complete source of amino acids which support your dog’s muscles, brain, skin and coat, according to the AKC staff article from June, 2021.  They also point out that Bully sticks, as they are sometimes called, are a great chew option as they are free from artificial chemicals, additives and preservatives.  Tough chews are an important part of keeping your dog healthy!

Bully Chews-

Rocky Mountain Bully Chews offers 11”-12”, 6” & 4”-5” Bully Chews.  These vary in thickness, as no 2 Bulls are the same.  Bully Chews are 80% pure protein.  Some dogs could experience sensitive stomach and diarrhea when first introduced to bully chews.   Limit the amount of time your dog is allowed to chew on these until they become accustomed to the protein.

Puppies are especially susceptible to beef protein.  Until they are 1 year old, a good option is Steer chews.

Steer Chews-

Steer are castrated bulls and tend to have far less testosterone.  Not only do puppies, and other dogs with sensitive stomachs, handle steer better than bullys, the steer chews don’t smell quite as bad!

Buffalo Chews-

We carry Buffalo chews for dogs that have a beef allergy.  Dogs with these allergies tend to handle Buffalo chews with no issues  Buffalo is not as thick as beef bullys, but they don’t have quite the smell either!

Bully Bites-

Bully Bites are a product from the muscle that holds the pizzle to the bull’s abdomen.  The dried Bully Bite has a small portion of the pizzle remaining, along with dried meat, like a dried steak for your dog!

Steer Knots-

Steer knots are a good option for all dogs, regardless of size or age.  They are thinner than Bully Chews and come with a knot tied in them for an extra challenge.  They vary greatly in size from Jumbo to mini, long to short.

Beef Tendons & Beef Backstraps-

Two other beef chews we offer are beef tendons and backstraps.  The tendons are the equivalent of human Achilles tendon and the backstraps are the muscle running along the spine of the bull.  Both are thick and a longer lasting chew.  They vary in size and shape.  While the tendons come in an 8oz package, the backstraps are sold individually.

 Split Elk Antler-

We also sell 3 sizes of split Elk Antler– Small, Medium and Large.  Elk Antler is the only antler that does not splinter.  We split them so your dog can get right to the best part of the antler, the marrow.  This is also a great way to clean their teeth and occupy them for hours!
